Jeron “Ricio” Fruge is a versatile trumpeter/composer/educator based in New Orleans, LA.  He has taught classes at Michigan State University and Florida State summer camps and also he has private trumpet studio in New Orleans. Ricio has shared the stage with New Orleans greats such as Herlin Riley, Stanton Moore, Delfeayo Marsalis, Theressa Anderson, Glen David Andrews, and many others, and has been featured as performer and narrator in the jazz documentary CHOPS. His own group “Ricio and Reece’s Pieces” will be recording their debut album this year.
