Kalea Cook is a New Orleans native with a background in event production, audience engagement, arts education, cultural programming, and community-centered initiatives throughout New Orleans. Her work centers on creating meaningful experiences that connect community and the arts. She currently serves as the Fundraising and Events Manager at The Roots of Music.

Kalea earned her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Xavier University of Louisiana and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration at Tulane University School of Professional Advancement with a focus in Nonprofit Leadership. With training in both voice and piano, her values lie in supporting creative expression, expanding access to the arts, and pouring into the next generation of young creatives and musicians through community-centered work.
