Sprouts of Music is The Roots of Music’s early childhood music education program for children ages 3–8. Offered during the school day through partnerships with Educare New Orleans and KIPP Believe in Columbia Parc, the program introduces young learners to rhythm, singing, movement, and the fundamentals of music theory. Through weekly 45-minute classes, students begin building the musical skills, creativity, and confidence that prepare them for future participation in The Roots of Music programs.

Our curriculum is designed to support early learning in a safe and engaging environment while encouraging creativity, collaboration, and early social-emotional development.

This program is made possible through the generosity of the Bayou District Foundation.
